Pecoraro Dominates Again:
Last fall we had the pleasure of watching a
15yr old dominate hitters at this same event, as well as Jupiter.
TJ Pecoraro is a nationally recognized prospect from Long Island who
has attended such events as PG Nationals, East Coast Pro and Area
Code Games. This morning, TJ was just too good in pitching
another complete game shutout with 12k's. His fast ball topped
out at 91 and he showed why he is one of the best in the country.
The Grays bats woke up early as the hitters put up 6 runs in the
first inning and went on to win 7-0. Sean Cole was a spark
plug in getting things started with 2 hits on the day as well as a
diving play in center. The Grays also got big hits from Tyler
Yesensky, Brian Dixon, and Erik Washburn. Tonight, the Grays
will send Georgia native Connor Kendrick to the mound. We'll
see if he can match Pecoraro's performance this morning!
